Consults and treats patients with various venous and arterial diseases affecting the legs, arms, abdomen, carotid arteries and other vascular regions. Performs DUPLEX ultrasonography of the extremities. Performs all types of venous surgery:
endovenous laser ablation (EVLA);
vein closure with biological adhesive;
vein surgery using the Müller–Varady technique (miniphlebectomy, phlebectomy);
sclerotherapy of varicose veins, diathermocoagulation;
steam vein sclerosis / steam micro-pulse endovenous thermal occlusion (SVS);
endovenous radiofrequency ablation (VNUS Closure FAST).
When appropriate, patients may also be offered venous surgery under hypnosis.
Operations are performed at the SIA “Veselības centrs 4” branch “Dermatoloģijas klīnika”, 50 Skanstes Street, Riga.
